APA Format Expectations

What I need to see in your essays are citations, references, and quotation marks.

Common citation forms can have several formats, and are not exclusive to direct quotes; some common formats:

Example of first citation: (Levack, Muir &Veldman, 2011).

If the first citation follows a direct quote: (Levack, Muir &Veldman, 2011, p. #).

Example of subsequent citation: (Levack et al., 2011).

If the subsequent citation follows a direct quote: (Levack et al., 2011, p. #).

References are required after every essay to identify source; example of a book reference:
